MOI Concludes International Training Program Under I2LEC Initiative
The Ministry of Interior completed a virtual training initiative focused on environmental crime enforcement. The program drew over 1,600 participants from 123 countries across 376 law enforcement organizations.
The expanded 2025 training program, implemented in September and October, addressed three core themes: wildlife crimes and biodiversity protection, hazardous substances and toxins, and waste management with pollution control.
Expert speakers from four continents presented investigative techniques, international legal frameworks, and enforcement best practices. Sessions highlighted illicit trafficking challenges and emphasized strengthening global cooperation among security institutions.
